Before you start: the app and the subscription are two different things
IPTV Family gives you the subscription: the channels, movies and series. You watch them in an app on your device, and that app comes separately. Think of the subscription as a SIM card and the app as the phone you put it in. You can use the app we suggest for your device, or any IPTV app you already like. Some apps ask for their own licence once their free period ends.

Would you rather use the Hot Player app?
Hot Player works on Fire TV too. It needs its own 1-year licence, tied to the MAC address of your device, and it comes with no channels: you add your IPTV Family login to it. The install steps, the MAC activation and the licence checkout are on the official Hot Player website (hotplayer.app).
Important: if TiviMate is already installed on this Fire TV, uninstall it first. V12Mate will not install next to it.

Then the login was typed wrong. Open Settings > Playlists > V12Mate > Xtream Codes parameters, then check your username and password, capital letters included.
The TV guide (EPG) keeps loading in the background. Give it a few minutes, then find it under Settings > EPG.
Developer options missing? In Settings > My Fire TV > About, highlight Fire TV Stick and press OK 7 times.
Fire TV questions
What is V12Mate on Fire TV?
V12Mate is an IPTV player for Fire TV. It sorts your channels and playlists and shows a TV guide (EPG). It plays the channels from your IPTV Family subscription.
Does V12Mate work on every Fire TV Stick?
It works on most Fire TV models. Make sure your device has free storage space and a steady Wi-Fi connection.
How do I add my IPTV Family login to V12Mate?
Open the playlist section in V12Mate and add your login with Xtream Codes (or an M3U link). You need the username and password we send you.
V12Mate shows no content on my Fire TV. What now?
The login was probably typed wrong. Delete or edit the playlist, add it again and check your username and password.
Something else is not working on my Fire TV. What can I try?
Turn unknown apps and ADB debugging back on if they were switched off, clear the app cache if it gets slow, and reinstall the app for bigger problems. Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp.

Will V12Mate run on my Android TV?
It runs on most Android TV devices with Android 5.0 or newer. You can check your version under Settings > About.
What do I get with TiviMate Premium?
Premium adds more features: more ways to customize the app, several playlists, extra support from TiviMate and smoother performance.
Is TiviMate made by IPTV Family?
No. TiviMate is an app from another company. We do not own or control it, and it needs its own Premium licence to unlock every feature.

MyTVOnline 1 or 2: which one should I use?
MyTVOnline 2 is the more recent one, with a cleaner layout and better Xtream Codes support. We suggest MyTVOnline 2.
Do I need to register the MAC address of my Formuler?
No. Formuler boxes log in with Xtream Codes, so your username and password are all you need.
Why are my channels not loading on Formuler?
Check that Login required is turned on, that your login is typed correctly and that your internet connection is steady, then restart MyTVOnline.
Can I add more than one IPTV service on Formuler?
Yes. Add several portals in MyTVOnline and switch between them.
Samsung, LG and other smart TVs: installation steps

Your Hot Player licence (1 year)
Each TV needs its own Hot Player activation, done once. The 1-year licence is tied to the MAC address the app displays, and to your email. The app has no channels: you add your IPTV Family login to it.
Works on: most smart TVs, including LG (webOS), Samsung (Tizen), Sony, TCL, Hisense, Vizio and other big brands.
Does your TV have the Google Play Store? Then follow the Android TV steps instead.
Step 1: install Hot Player
On your smart TV, open your TV app store (LG Content Store, Samsung Apps and so on).
Search for Hot IPTV or Hot Player.

Open Hot Player on your smart TV.

Activate your Hot Player licence (1 year)
Each device needs its own Hot Player activation, done once. Go to the official Hot Player website (hotplayer.app), enter the MAC address from step 2 and your email, then pay for the 1-year licence. The app has no channels: you add your IPTV Family login in step 3.
Step 3: add your playlist online
On your phone, tablet or computer, go to hotplayer.app.
Click Upload list in the menu.

How do I find the MAC address for my smart TV?
Hot Player shows it in its Account section. The app creates it the first time you open it on your TV.
Hot Player is not available on my TV. What now?
Hot Player is not offered in every region or on every TV brand. You can change the region of your TV account, or use another IPTV app from your TV app store, such as Smart IPTV, GSE Smart IPTV or IBO Player.
How much does Hot Player cost on a smart TV?
You activate Hot Player once, and there is no monthly fee. The 1-year licence is sold on the official Hot Player website (hotplayer.app) and is tied to the MAC address of your TV. The app itself has no channels: you use your IPTV Family subscription.
Can I add more than one playlist on my smart TV?
Yes. Hot Player takes several playlists. Add them on hotplayer.app and switch between them on your TV.
Why are my channels not loading on my smart TV?
Check that your internet connection is steady, that your server address, username and password are right and that your subscription is active. Then restart Hot Player. Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp.
Which smart TVs can run Hot Player?
Most big platforms: LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, Android TV (Sony, TCL, Hisense) and a few others. It depends on your region, so check your TV app store.
Roku: our recommendation
We do not recommend Roku for IPTV
Roku has very limited support for IPTV apps, so we do not recommend it. A Fire TV Stick or Android TV box costs little and works far better. See the Fire TV steps or the Android TV steps.

Which app should I use on iPhone and iPad?
We suggest iMPlayer because it is simple and reliable. Smarters Player Lite is also a good choice for beginners. Both work with your IPTV Family subscription.
Does my Apple TV need a jailbreak?
No. Every app in this guide comes straight from the App Store.
Do these apps work on Apple TV?
Yes. iMPlayer and many other IPTV apps are available for Apple TV. You can also send video from your iPhone or iPad to the Apple TV with AirPlay.
Why is the TV guide (EPG) not loading on my iPhone?
Turn on Auto-update EPG in the app settings. The full guide can take a few minutes to load.

Which app should I use on Windows and Mac?
IPTV Smarters Pro has the most features and runs on both Windows and Mac. MyIPTV Player suits Windows 10 and 11 users who like Microsoft Store apps.
Can I watch IPTV in VLC?
Yes. VLC plays M3U playlists: open Media > Open Network Stream, then paste your M3U link. Dedicated IPTV apps give you more features.
What does my computer need?
A PC with Windows 7 or later, or a Mac with OS X 10.10 or later, 4 GB of RAM or more and a steady internet connection. 25 Mbps or more is a good target.
Can I record shows on my computer?
Some apps, such as IPTV Smarters Pro, include a recording feature. It depends on the app you use.

Mobile data: use Wi-Fi when you can. Streaming uses about 1 GB per hour in standard quality and about 3 GB per hour in HD.
Battery: streaming uses a lot of battery. You can turn off battery optimization for your IPTV app under Settings > Battery > App battery management.
Android phone and tablet questions
Does TiviMate come with channels?
No. TiviMate is only the player. The channels, movies and series come from your IPTV Family subscription.
TiviMate says invalid when I log in. Why?
Check the server address, username and password. Typos are the usual cause. Watch for extra spaces, and check that the address begins with http:// or https://.
Do I need TiviMate Premium on my phone?
Premium adds several playlists, a richer TV guide and layout options. The free version is fine for one playlist.
How do I reduce buffering on my phone?
Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, close apps running in the background and lower the stream quality if needed. Still buffering? Message us on WhatsApp.
Can I cast from my phone to my TV?
Yes. Most IPTV apps can cast to a Chromecast: tap the cast icon in the player. Screen mirroring also works on compatible TVs.
What internet speed do I need?
Plan on about 10 Mbps for SD, 25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps or more for 4K. You can test your speed at fast.com.

XC API login or MAC server: what is the difference?
XC API login uses a username and password (Xtream Codes). MAC server uses the MAC address of your box. XC API login gives you more flexibility, and it is what we suggest for most people.
Which BuzzTV login method should I use?
If you have a username and password, choose XC API login. Choose MAC server only when we tell you your login needs it.
Why are my channels not loading on BuzzTV?
Check your login details and your internet connection, make sure you picked the right method (XC API or MAC) and restart the BuzzTV app.
Can I add more than one IPTV service on BuzzTV?
Yes. You can save several connections under Server settings and move between them from the home screen.
